Short-Term Success Story: Gustave
Gustave F. was admitted to Woodridge Nursing and Rehab following a hospitalization secondary to CVA, which he was not able to make spontaneous recovery. Prior to his hospitalization, he was able to perform functional mobility, gait with modified independence with AD. He was evaluated by our physical, occupational and speech therapists.
They each developed individualized care plans to target his limitations. Which focused on improving his strength, functional, mobility, transfers to increase his safety awareness with gait to increase his quality of life. Gustave. Was very determined in improving his strength to get better as soon as possible.
Gustave along with the support of a great nursing and therapy staff has improved in his endurance, functional capacity transfers, and gait with RW with increased safety awareness. He discharged with great staff support making significant gains towards all set goals.
